· Jump Rope for Heart
This is a wonderful event that engages our children in jumping rope while raising funds to support lifesaving heart and stroke research. This educational program teaches physical fitness and promotes the value of community service.

Volunteer Needs: We would like to have two volunteers at a time to help with paperwork through-out the day on “Jump Rope for Heart” day. The volunteers can work in morning or afternoon shifts so there is not a need to be available the entire day.

· Day of the Arts
This is a special chance to see the amazing art work of Gateway students displayed throughout the building. This event will include the 3rd grade program and ice-cream.

· Mayfest
Mayfest includes field day activities, chalk art, and a talent show!

Volunteer Needs: We will need 40 volunteers to help with indoor and outdoor activities and food throughout the morning (8:30 – 12:00). This is a fun time for all. Don’t miss it!!

· Staff Conference Supper - Spring
During Parent/Teacher Conferences we provide dinner for our Teachers as they work into the evening.

· Staff Appreciation Week
This is the week we celebrate our teachers and staff! We involve all our families in thanking these people who give so much of themselves to our children. We have a theme planned for each day. Parent and student participation will be needed.
